Born in Pikeville Kentucky to a father who worked in the coal mines and a mother who was a local nurse, Laura began learning about the importance of having compassion for others at a very young age. At age 14, her family left Kentucky and settled in East Tennessee where she began attending Daniel Boone High School. It was here that Laura developed a keen interest in science. Her compassionate nature and fervent study of science led her to attend the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy to pursue her doctorate of pharmacy. When Laura isn't helping our customers at P&S Pharmacy she enjoys collecting taxidermy and tending to her farm.
